just listened to an old song, 100 years by five for fighting. this song suddenly made me think of the past. it made me remember of the time when Sylvester Tan left the Altar Boys' society as a president. He flashed the lyrics of this song on the screen. it really got me thinking of how much there is to achieve and work for in life. i learned that i shld not let disappointments get into my way but instead i should pick myself up, continue living and treasure every single moment. Sadly i have totally done the exact opposite. i've let disappointments bring me down on many occasions. i didnt cherish what i had. i overlooked the love and care my parents have shown on me. i always blame myself for being unlucky and not having things going my way. Even being the president of the Altar Boys i have been a complete opposite of what Sylvester was. My spiritual life is like dead. i've been too lazy at too many a times.

Now that sly is back from Australia, he would really be disappointed in me. i hope he does not read this post :(

4 more papers left to complete freedom... we can do it guys:)

Live like we are dying

almunia

Sometimes we fall down and can’t get back up
We’re hiding behind skin that’s too tough
How come we don’t say I love you enough
Till it’s to late, it’s not too late

Our hearts are hungry for a food that won’t come
We could make a feast from these crumbs
And we’re all staring down the barrel of a gun
So if your life flashed before you
What would you wish you would’ve done

Yeah… gotta start
Lookin at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start pickin it
Every second counts on a clock that’s tickin’
Gotta live like we’re dying

We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we’re dying

And if your plane fell out of the skies
Who would you call with your last goodbyes
Should be so careful who we live out our lives
So when we long for absolution
There’ll no one on the line

Yeah… gotta start
Lookin at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start pickin it
Every second counts on a clock that’s tickin’
Gotta live like we’re dying

We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we’re dying

Like we’re dying oh - like we’re dying [x2]

We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live - like we’re dying

We never know a good thing till it’s gone
You never see a crash until it’s head on
All those people right when we’re dead wrong
You never know a good thing till it’s gone

Yeah… gotta start
Lookin at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start livin it
Every second counts on a clock that’s tickin’
Gotta live like we’re dying

We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we’re dying

Like we’re dying oh - like we’re dying [x2]

We only got
86 400 seconds in a day to
Turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em
While we got the chance to say
Gotta live like we’re dying
Live like we’re dying

another week has gone by.  what have i been doing? same old stuff.  studied very little, soccer betting, play soccer and SLACK alot.  told myself i would start serious studying from Oct 1 onwards.  i studied quite a little, but i definetly need to study more.  5 more weeks i can do it.  we can do it :)

i found out fatty wayne lau and few other soccer guys had icecream buffet on tuesday.  well done wayne, its another big step you have taken towards obesity. ok i shall confess.  i also went for icecream buffet last saturday.  it was superb.  there were like 50 flavours to choose from.  waffles, fondue and cakes.  yummy:)  i tried 8 flavours of icecream.  i regret taking the gelato flavours as it really made me full really fast.  i wonder how many flavours wayne tried.  51?  *wayne dont kill me after reading this*

HAHA it still looks like a soccer stadium.  and its only a stone's throw away from the Emirates stadium( present home ground for arsenal fc ) But i can dream on abt leaving here.  its definetly too expensive.  and i will nvr have that kind of money to purchase an apartment in such a greatly sort after area.  :( :( :(

the end of prelims is definetly something to celebrate about... but there is still A levels...sian.  my last paper was on tuesday.  stayed up the whole night on tuesday and wednesday watching soccer matches, league cup and laliga.  slept like a pig in the afternoon.  unhealthy lifestlye? who cares i managed to clear my deficit of $-122 from soccer betting last night.  now my profits stand at a proud $65. i am so gonna take the money and run.....

Have also given some thought on what i am gonna do in the future.  i have finally realised that its time i better be more serious about my future.  how can it be that ppl around me are more concern about my future when i am just taking it easy.  So i spent a couple of hours browsing thru the internet.  went one last time to all the NUS, SMU and NTU website to confirm one last time that i really didnt like their courses.  and yes indeed i didnt like them at all.  so i finally made up my mind, i am going to NIE to teach physical education.  the entry requirements seemed quite attainable.  i just got to take some Physical Proficiency Test which is just some fitness test.  sure pass one la.  its much easier to train up den to study...  so at the moment i am glad i have something realistic to aim for after A levels.  oh yes i am still of course going to try make it to the sleague.  i know some ppl around me are encouraging me to do it while many others are discouraging me.  they say i wont go far with soccer in singapore but i am gonna give it a shot.  if i fail, at least i know i tried.  just like Michael Jordan said, " i can take failure but i can't take not trying".

Arsenal youngsters with an average of 20 defeated championship league leaders West Brom 2-0 in the carling cup 3rd round.  the players Arsene Wenger sents out in this competition are becoming younger every year.  i would not be surprised if a 12 year old were to feature in this competition for arsenal one day.

prelims vs soccer betting

my goodness i spent my whole prelims period betting on soccer games that happen a 1000 miles away from where i am.  But my prelims, which is taking place just before my eyes, i simply just overlooked it.  i am so dead for prelims haha.. spent almost every single night analysing who would win.  haha i am just not made for studying.  studying sucks.. haha.. anw i am making a lost in my gambling.  so i practically wasted 2 weeks not studying and losing money.  money can always win back but i can't do the same for A levels.  in conclusion i am so dead... HAHA.. and i still can afford to laugh........ finish..

Thomas Vermaelen says, YOU BETTER GO AND STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!

its really amazing how things can really go against you.  its amazing how eduardo can be handed a two match ban by UEFA for diving.  that means u have to give cristiano ronaldo a life time ban.  its amazing how friends can be really insensitive to you.  even knowing what hurts me the most yet they do it right infront of my bloody face or keep mentioning it.  its sad when people put their selfish thoughts before your needs.  oh well just like yihfang have said u can't expect everyone to think e same way as u do.  and i kinda agree with her.. if everyone share my  thoughts there would be too many Rajas in this world.  one is already bad enough...

everything is so fucking over.....come Nov 23rd all this nonsense will just be a distant memory in my ass...

i'm writing this post after arsenal's 2-1 defeat to manu at old trafford.  well done to arsenal, we fought right to the very end:)  sadly van persie's 90th min strike was ruled offside.  But laxing... if arsenal plays every game like this ill be the happiest person on earth for the rest of my life.. the willingness shown by arsenal to try and get level after going a goal down is really an encouraging sign...  the goals conceded were purely mistakes...  apart from that manu stood no chance. . However congrats to manu for their win....Mr Wenger hats off to you once again for another splendid performance by the gunners... keep the faith and lets see whats install for us come May 2010.

choices...

Choices is the word that describes my remaining 3 months plus as a nj student.  firstly epl starting in 2 days time.  i cant beleive starhub cable is showing every single match.  super cool man.  but i've to make a choice.. do i watch all the games or do i only watch arsenal's game n spend more time studying?  many of you would think its a simple decision to make....but for me its really freaking hard to choose.. just ask ting soon how i watched almost every game of euro 2008 n screwed my common test.  ironically i do not regret watching euro 2008 at the expense of my common test....haha i still got promoted eventually so no regrets..... but will i regret it this time around when i screw up my A levels? i think i would regret it...so i guess ill most probably only watch arsenal matches.  damn its gonna be so damn hard to resist not watching other matches as well....

there are also other choices i've to make in life.  some which are even more impt to me as compared to watching arsenal.  Most of you would surely know what i'm talking abt.

But for now its all abt arsenal.......and Almunia.....
